SCA Board Voting Recommendations

Sadly, the association has gotten off track on too many occasions while tarnishing the image of the community in the process. Whether inexperience or for other reasons, the community has not been well served in matters where the board has thwarted the laws that governs us; in securing effective restaurant operations since the costly closure and legal mess surrounding S&D Cafe; by engaging in illegal manipulation of Neighborhood reserves to avoid responsible and proper accountability; by taking disruptive and unwarranted punitive actions against homeowners; and by adopting ill-advised and costly risky behavior in the preparation of annual tax filings.

We are in need of a change in direction, more—not less transparency, greater honesty and integrity, demonstrated community support, independence and proven leadership qualities. What we do not need are candidates who cloak themselves with endorsements from those who have disappointed us in the past as such candidates are more likely than not to adopt similar past practices.

I urge you to cast your vote for:

Bob Frank

Bella Meese

Mike Waterhouse

Carl Weinstein
