An Invitation to
Residents
a portal to written expression, commentary,
and the arts
We have art so that we shall not die of reality. -

Please join our efforts.
We have inaugurated a resident-supported web
journal consisting of written expression, commentary and
works of art. Recognizing that many of our residents are
creative, The SCA View-Journal is
intent on providing both the contributor and our
community with a unique and rewarding opportunity to
share in our collective creativity while providing an
enriching experience for our community and adult
lifestyle.
Enhance our active adult lifestyle.
Do you
have a good story you would like to share, fiction or
not? Many of us have had unique encounters, interesting
or inspiring experiences or accomplishments that others
would benefit from reading. They may be tales of life
experience, accomplishment, anguish, adventure, joy,
love, overcoming tragedy, loss or illness, coping with
health issues or facing the inevitable and untimely
prospects of death. Still other residents may have their
own works of art they would like to share.
In each
case, others in our community can gain from the benefit
of your own creativeness. It is well recognized that
written expression and art may be healing and life
enhancing and that the creativity which results can
benefit the human condition.
While
many of us are content to merely read and view the works
of others and be entertained and ennobled in the
process, others in our community may be inspired to be
creative themselves.
Let us
hear from you.
Whether as a potential reader, writer, columnist,
author, artist, or as a contributor, tell us what you
